Dear Sir or Madam,
We would like to inform you that recently, in Poland and the European Union, there have n cases of forged decisions allegedly issued by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the offices of EU member states. Letters of demand, invoices, summonses, and certificates of protection are also being sent. Third parties are impersonating these offices, demanding payment of a specified amount to a designated bank account indicated in the letter.
In the interest of your safety, we urge you to exercise caution and contact us if you have any doubts.
I. Fake documentation from the Patent Office of Poland
Entities that register their trademarks receive fabricated decisions from the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland regarding their registration. It is worth noting that false decisions granting protection are issued in electronic form just a few days after the application, which is impossible according to Polish procedure.
Important: The Patent Office issues certificates of protection only in paper form.
Entities that already have registered trademarks receive false payment requests, including registration, migration, or validation fees. The only fees paid to the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland by the trademark holder are the fees for extending the protection, which must be paid before the end of the 10-year protection period.
Important: Any entity represented before the Offices (UPRP, EUIPO, WIPO) by a professional attorney does not receive correspondence from the Office.
All correspondence in the matter is directed exclusively to the attorney.
Scammers also send commercial offers regarding the publication of information about intellectual property items in private company databases.
These actions are not related to the activities of government agencies!

II. False documentation from EUIPO and WIPO
In the case of foreign offices (EUIPO, WIPO, national offices), the methods of operation of fraudsters are the same. Third parties send fabricated official letters, demanding payment of a specific amount to a false account number.
However, it should be remembered that such actions are not related to any official trademark or design registration service provided by public authorities in the European Union and by international organizations (WIPO), therefore we appeal for caution, and in case of any doubts, we invite you to contact us.
IMPORTANT! Any entity represented before the Offices (UPRP, EUIPO, WIPO) by a professional representative does not receive letters from the Office.
All correspondence on the matter is directed exclusively to the representative.
